For the Display Screen Equipment regulations to be effective and monitored employers are required to make sure that each of their employees complete a workstation risk assessment. There it is again that dreaded risk assessment but before you run screaming “Health & Safety again” think about all those people you know that work or worked in offices who are suffering from back, shoulder, arm or wrist pain. Some of them cannot even hold a pen or a cup, some can hardly move their arms without pain. Would you like to end up like that?
